Did you know that many people who have chronic symptoms can have a lot of unprocessed anger in them?
Hearing this may sound almost offensive because we seem the LEAST angry people. We are the kindest, nicest, the most caring people in the world!
👉We people please…
👉We put everyone else’s needs before our own…
👉We avoid conflict at all costs…
👉We say YES when we actually want to say NO…
👉We OverDO everything in order to never rock the boat and never get in trouble!
But here’s the problem:
By doing these things we are creating internal anger 🤯
☝🏻Because do we really like to neglect our own needs?
👆🏻Do we enjoy spreading ourselves so thin just to make sure others are okay?
👆🏻Don’t we want to get our needs met?
👀 Can you see how there can be hidden anger in you? 👀
This is what dr Sarno was talking about when he said that chronic pain is largely caused by internal anger. If you have chronic symptoms and you start taking a closer look at your personality traits, things start to make sense.
