Should you go back to childhood and explore some of the events that happened there, in order to recover from chronic pain or other symptoms that are caused by brain and nervous system (TMS)?
I don’t think that it’s absolutely necessary for everyone. Just like journaling, somatic tracking or telling your brain that “I am safe” aren’t necessary for everyone. But there are people who will benefit from exploring their childhoods so that they can see the connection between some childhood events and their personality traits, and their chronic health problems.
For me, going back to childhood and revisiting some events was helpful because I realized that some personality traits that I developed early in my were still present as an adult. These personality traits make a person very prone to TMS!
In today’s episode I’m bringing you 5 examples of how you probably were as a child, how you probably still have these traits about you today, and how these traits cause you the negative emotions that in turn cause the symptoms. Of course, I won’t leave you without solutions, because the goal is to eliminate your chronic pain.
