When you then get a sensation or pain, this could be your brain's way of telling you: You gotta relax more! You're putting so much pressure on yourself!
Perfectionism is very exhausting. By having unreasonably high expectations on yourself and pushing yourself very hard you just drain your nervous system to the point where you have nothing to give anymore. And this is where chronic pain often starts as well. When you keep the perfectionism going, so does the pain. It becomes chronic.
