How do I start eating normally, after years of dieting or eating very low calories?
Has this question ever crossed your mind?
You're ready to at least start eating better, stop restricting and get your period back, but every time you try eating more, your body seems to fight against it, giving you all kind of digestive issues.
We've also been constantly told that there are certain foods that are bad for us and therefore, need to be avoided. But is it always true? Maybe it's the years of restrictive dieting that has caused our bodies to react negatively when we're trying to eat something from the “forbidden foods” list? However, we still keep blaming the food…
In today's interview, we're talking about exactly these things with a dietitian, women's hormone expert and personal chef, Cory Levin.

After 12 years of restriction, OCD eating habits, and blandness I’m having a hard time “eating normal”. It’s like I forgot how to eat. My disordered eating and compulsive exercise started later in life for me at 25 yrs. So i keep trying to tell myself to eat like I did in high school – when I was a carefree athlete and ate what I wanted when I was hungry. But I find that I don’t crave anything these days and I get full so fast.
