Last month when I was in Estonia, I had a conversation with my friend who has been struggling with her weight on and off for many years. When I asked her what she is doing for her exercise, her answer surprised me… And also made me feel a bit bad!
See, she told me that she has been going to fitness classes which are very similar to the ones that we did when she was visiting me years ago when I was a bootcamp trainer in California. So she was clueless as to why she is not seeing much change.
I used to teach bootcamps and loved them, but I didn’t know then but I do know. Which is that bootcamp workouts and actual strength training are two quite different things and they produce very different results.
