Why Losing Weight Can Never Solve All Your Problems
Many people thing that once they get to their “ideal weight”, or at least lose a lot of weight, their lives would be so much better.
And they can be! Losing weight can absolutely help improve our health, confidence, longevity, and more.
Lifting weights is a great tool for personal growth because it forces us to get through hard things and build resiliency.
But there are some things that can not be resolved by simply losing weight. If someone has very low self esteem and low self worth, then weight loss can help but may not resolve this problem!
It’s important to change the way we are thinking about and talking to ourselves. By changing that from negative to positive, we literally change the neural networks in the brain and build up more self worth and esteem.
