What You Didn’t Know About Calories

Calories aren't bad for you. They actually do many great things for you.

The word calories freaks out too many women. We're used to think that calories are something bad and we should eat as little as we can of them, and burn as much as we possibly could. The goal behind this way of thinking is always this: To lose more weight.

In today's video, I'm talking about something that you maybe didn't know about calories (or at least something that the diet industry is really trying to hide from us): We actually need calories.

I also wrote an article on that same topic a little while ago, so if you want to read instead of watching the video, you can find this post here.

Eating adequate amount of calories is really important also for recovering from hypothalamic amenorrhea. If you have lost your period, check out this book to see how to get it back!
