I was already hungrier than usual for breakfast, so I ate much more than usual. Way more. Eggs, salmon and a homemade protein muffin with peanut butter.
Lunch was interesting: wine, cheese, plantain chips, cashews and some chocolate. It was a very snacky lunch and not something I would have or recommend daily. But I felt like it, so that's what I had.
And then a I had a decent dinner with protein and veggies, that I finished with hot chocolate and a few fat bombs.
There was a protein bar somewhere there too.
I ate quite a bit more than I usually eat, and that's okay. It really is.
So yesterday meant a lot of snacking and probably very high calories. I ate a lot of foods that I would NOT have had years ago. Peanuts and cheese on the same meal, hello??? Chocolate – are you crazy? Only a few vegetables? That's terrible!
This would have been my thinking years ago. But not anymore. If there are days when I eat differently, I just let it be.

This is the program that helped me to get rid of my period pains.
Yesterday just wasn't one of these days because not every day looks the same.
So I ate all those things I mentioned before,
Please don’t panic when you have a day when you need more food or you didn't “hit your macros” or whatever. It's all good. There are plenty of other things to worry about around this time, though stay sane please. Be kind to yourself. Still be your own biggest superfan.
