328. Getting Stuck with Chronic Symptom Recovery

Whatever new thing we learn, whatever the new goal we have that we want to accomplish – getting to the end point is usually not a smooth sailing.

This is so true for chronic symptom recovery. There are many obstacles on the way that slow us down. The process is not linear.
Over the past 4.5 years when I’ve helped women lose weight — it has been true for them too. It hardly ever happens that someone sets a goal that requires a whole host of new habits and consistency, and gets there without any setbacks.
